Subject: other tech: flashlight fix hack

Just did this. Sometimes the springy battery contacts don't contact well after time(might be age related fatigue). If they're clean enough, but the contacts can't be stretched or pulled out enough for tight enough contact, pad the contacts with conductive material. Folded-up piece of scrap pie-plate(or foil or whatever you have laying around) did it for me. Easy fix; less than a few minutes.
Ain't being cheapo - just sick of this disposable society where the answer to everything that doesn't work is 'dump it and buy a new one'.
